Yres for partners
Yres automates the data warehouse on Microsoft Azure: loading sources, keeping full history, deploying changes in a controlled way and monitoring the result. It runs in your customer's own Azure tenant and produces ordinary Azure components. For partners that means you deliver a data foundation without building one, you keep your hours for the work your customer actually hired you for, and you never have to sell or invoice a licence.

What you offer
A layer that removes the boring half of a data warehouse and that your customer keeps. This is what sets it apart in a conversation:
- Dedicated connectors for AFAS and Exact Online, and SAP through SAP's own standards — Yres is an official partner of all three
- Seven load types, six of which keep full SCD2 history
- Every edit is recorded as a change and travels per change to test and production, including the Data Factory publish
- Operations ship with the product: about eighty health checks, a bundled test suite, archiving and log retention
- Everything in the customer's tenant: data, metadata, credentials and secrets. No agent, no VM that has to stay running, no desktop client
- Fixed, public pricing from EUR 350 per month — no price per user, no consumption charges from Yres
- If the customer stops, the environment keeps running and their own data engineers can carry on
How we work together
This is a referral partnership, not reselling. You register an opportunity with us and remain its partner; the customer signs the licence agreement directly with Plainwater. So you never buy licences, never invoice them, never carry support on them — and you take no credit risk.
In return you receive an annual margin over the licence revenue of the customers where you are registered as the primary partner. That margin continues for as long as the customer uses Yres and you demonstrably stay involved: in the customer relationship, in expansion, in support. It is not a one-off finder's fee but a stream that builds, and that is deliberate: we want partners who keep thinking along, not partners who pass on an address.
You are not on your own in the sales process. You can run demos independently, and on request you get a demo environment, presentations and materials. Want us alongside you, and we join customer conversations or provide technical pre-sales. At the start you receive a partner pack, a demonstration of the product and a first training on sales and functional use. Deeper training and implementation support we arrange separately.
Every engagement starts with an architecture session where we look at whether Yres fits — including when the answer is no. That is not politeness but self-interest: a customer who buys for the wrong reason never becomes a good reference, for us or for you. The environment is then installed automatically in the customer's Azure tenant. Your team learns the platform through the knowledge base and the Yres Academy, with a certificate that can be verified publicly.
There are no exclusive rights: we work with several partners in the same sector or region. The exact margin and tier scale are in the partner agreement, which we discuss once we have spoken.
